Xiaomi 12 Pro India launch date is April 27th at 12 PM IST. Like with most events these days, it should be live-streamed via the company’s YouTube channel, even though Xiaomi is holding a physical event in India.

The Xiaomi 12 has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout to accommodate the selfie snapper, slightly curved edges and narrow bezels. The volume rocker and power button are on the right spine. There’s nothing on the left edge.

On the back, the phone has a triple camera layout arranged in a rectangular module. The primary sensor has a large cutout, while the other two are regular sized lenses. The USB Type-C port, primary microphone, and speaker grille should be present on the bottom. The fingerprint sensor will be placed on the screen.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro price in China is RMB 4,699 (approx Rs 55,200) for 8GB + 128GB, RMB 4,999 (around Rs 58,700) for 8GB + 256GB and RMB 5,399 (Rs 63,400) for 12GB + 256GB versions. We can expect the price in India to be slightly cheaper, considering the aggressive nature of Xiaomi.

Xiaomi 12 Pro sports a 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution, centre-positioned punch-hole cutout, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 1500nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and HDR10+. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset coupled with Adreno GPU. The chipset will be aided by up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Xiaomi 12 Pro has triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP Sony IMX707 primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, OIS, LED flash, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle camera with 115-degree FoV, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. There is a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.
