Xiaomi 13 series global debut imminent

As seen in the poster above, Xiaomi will unveil “new Xiaomi technology” at MWC Barcelona 2023, which is scheduled to happen on February 27th, 2023, and will end on March 2nd, 2023. The brand is more than likely to announce the Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro during the event, but given the fact that the poster claims there will be something “new” involved and there have been talks surrounding the Xiaomi 13(S) Ultra for quite a while now, it is safe to assume that we might get to see the brand’s latest Ultra model during the same event. This falls in line with our exclusive report that Xiaomi intends launching a premium flagship – probably the Xiaomi 13S Ultra – at MWC.

For now, not much is known about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra or the Xiaomi 13S Ultra, save for the fact that it will likely feature a 120Hz/144Hz QHD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS4.0 storage, Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box, and a Leica-branded camera.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro features a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup, but we can expect the Ultra model to sport an even better sensor, as the Pro model utilises the last-gen camera which was used in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
