xiaomi 67watt charger: Xiaomi to launch 67watt fast charger in India on July 12 – Times of India
Xiaomi recently teased the launch of a new charger in India. The company has now confirmed the launch date and some features of the upcoming device. It has created a microsite of the upcoming launch on Mi.com.
As per the page, the device will be unveiled on July 12. The page suggests that it will be a wireless charger with 67watt power output. The teaser page suggests that the charger can be used to charge phones, tablets, laptops and other USB Type-C devices.
The wired fast charger is teased to come with a compact design. It will be equipped with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It will also offer USB Type-C cable out-of-the-box. In addition, the charger will come with built-in surge protection.
Xiaomi launched its flagship Mi 11 Ultra phone earlier this year with 67 watt fast charger. However, the phone packs a 55watt adapter in India due to certification constraints. With the new 67watt charger, Xiaomi may be looking to overcome this constraint by giving Mi 11 Ultra users the option to buy 67 watt charger separately.
