Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro rumoured to launch in July – Times of India

Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro rumoured to launch in July – Times of India

Last week, Xiaomi brought in the latest iteration of the Mi Band – the Mi Band 7 – with some incremental upgrades, including a 25 per cent larger display than its predecessor. However, one of the most anticipated features was in-built GPS, but the Mi Band 7 missed that. Rumours now suggest that a ‘Pro’ variant of Mi Band 7 is under development, and it might bring some advancements over the Mi Band 7.
The ‘Pro’ variant of the Mi Band 7, aka, Mi Band 7 Pro has been spotted on the Xiaomi Door Lock app. However, the picture beside the listing does not reveal anything about the alleged Mi Band 7 Pro, and it looks very much the same as the Mi Band 7 NFC. The ‘Pro’ variant is said to come with a larger display, a bigger battery rated at 250mAh and an in-built GPS. Tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the Mi Band 7 Pro could debut alongside the Xiaomi 12 Ultra in July.
Xiaomi recently announced the Mi Band 7 in China, which brings some incremental improvements over the last year’s Mi Band 6. The Mi Band 7 features a 1.62-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display, which is said to provide a 25 per cent viewing area compared to the last generation Mi Band. The Mi Band 7 comes in two variants – Mi Band 7 and Mi Band 7 NFC.
The Mi Band 7 comes with the usual fitness features including SpO2 tracking, heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring and women’s health tracking. It comes with support for 120 sports modes including various indoor and outdoor sports. The Mi Band 7 boasts a 180mAh battery with a magnetic port for charging.
