Xiaomi Watch S1, Watch S1 Active smartwatches with Bluetooth Calling, 12 days battery life launched – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Xiaomi Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active smartwatches are now official. Xiaomi has expanded its wearable lineup with the launch of two new smartwatches — Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active in the global market. Both the smartwatches come with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and Bluetooth calling functionality.
Xiaomi Watch S1 sports a classic and streamlined design and is made using sapphire glass and stainless-steel frame. It comes in classic leather and fluororubber bands. On the other hand, Xiaomi Watch S1 Active comes with a lightweight design and colourful sports band.
Price and availability
Xiaomi Watch S1 comes in Black (black leather strap + black fluororubber strap) and Silver (brown leather strap + grey fluororubber strap). The company has priced the smartwatch at $269 (Rs 20,565). On the other hand, Xiaomi Watch S1 Active comes in Moon White, Ocean Blue and Space Black colours with matching black fluororubber straps and cost $199 (Rs 15,210).
The company has not yet revealed the availability details of the smartwatches.
Xiaomi Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active features
Xiaomi Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 466×466 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Sapphire glass on top.
The smartwatches come equipped with a heart rate sensor, accelerometer sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, atmospheric pressure sensor, ambient light sensor. The devices also feature a capacitive sensor for wear detection.
Capable of sleep tracking, the smartwatches offer 117 fitness modes which include 19 professional modes. The duo also comes with Alexa support and Bluetooth calling functionality.
The smartwatches sport a water-resistant design and claim to offer 12 days of battery backup on a single charge.
