xiaomi: Xiaomi 11T series expected to launch in India next month – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Xiaomi recently launched its 11T series of smartphones in the European market. Now, it appears that the company is all set to launch the new series in India soon. The Xiaomi 11T series consist of two smartphones — Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro, the company is expected to launch both the smartphones in India in the coming week.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the smartphone maker is all set to launch the Xiaomi 11T series in India in October. However, he does not clarify if these phones will use the same name in India. To recall, Xiaomi is known for using different names for the same device in various markets.
The Xiaomi 11T series is the successor of the last year launched Mi 10T series. The company claims that both the smartphones are designed to offer Cinemagic experience. With this launch of this new series Xiaomi also promised to offer two years of warranty and three Android OS updates with four years of security patches to both the smartphones.
It is expected that the company will launch the same variants in India without any change in their specifications.
Xiaomi 11T specifications (European variant)
Xiaomi 11T runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 12.5. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor paired with 8GB of RAM.
Xiaomi 11T sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup with 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a tele macro lens. Selfie lovers will get a 16MP front shooter.
Xiaomi 11T Pro specifications (European variant)
Xiaomi 11T Pro is the first smartphone of the company to come with 120W fast charging support. The smartphone houses a 5000 mAh battery and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi 11T Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. The device packs up to 256GB onboard storage. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate with the company’s own Adaptive Sync technology. The display is also protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Running Android 11 operating system, the Xiaomi 11T Pro features a triple rear camera.
The rear camera comprises 108MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a tele macro camera. Front of the smartphone houses a 16MP selfie shooter.
