xiaomi: Xiaomi Buds 3 with active noise cancellation, wireless charging support launched – Times of India
NEW DELHI: Xiaomi recently launched its much teased Xiaomi 12 series of smartphones in China. Along with the smartphones, the company has also launched a new pair of true wireless earbuds. Dubbed Xiaomi Buds 3, the earbuds come with dual magnetic dynamic driver unit and Hi-Fi audio support. The company claims that the earbuds can use the three microphones of feedforward, feedback, and talk to achieve a depth of up to 40dB noise cancellation.
Xiaomi Buds 3 also offers three modes of active noise cancellation. The true wireless earbuds come with a water-resistant design and touch controls. The promise to offer a long lasting battery and comes with wireless charging support.
Xiaomi Buds 3 comes in black and white colour options and is priced at Rs 499 yuan (Rs 5,840). The earbuds will go on sale in China starting December 31. The company has not yet revealed the global launch and availability details of the earbuds.
Xiaomi Buds 3 specifications
Xiaomi Buds 3 offers Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and comes with a dual-magnetic dynamic driver unit. The earbuds feature a high-performance noise cancellation chip and two microphones for active noise cancellation. The device also offers three active noise cancellation modes — Air Travel mode, Office mode and Daily mode.
Xiaomi Buds 3 also comes with two Transparency modes that allow users to listen to the ambient sounds in one click without taking off the headphones. The device comes with easy touch controls and dual-device intelligent quick connection to easily pair with mobile phones and laptops.
The true wireless earbuds also come with smart wear detection for autoplay and pause. The device also comes with IP55 rating which makes it water-resistant. The company claims that the Xiaomi Buds 3 offers 7 hours of battery backup on a single charge with active noise cancellation on. The device also comes with Qi wireless charging support.
