xiaomi: Xiaomi introduces a new battery replacement program in India starting at Rs 499 – Times of India

Xiaomi has introduced a new battery replacement service for its users. Xiaomi has announced its new ‘Battery replacement Programme’ for users in India. The company claims that this new initiative will make it easier for users to get the batteries of their smartphones replaced if needed. Users will have to pay a fixed price of Rs 499 in order to get the battery replaced. The smartphone maker also adds that the customers will have to visit the authorised Xiaomi service centre for battery replacement.
According to the announcement made by Xiaomi India COO Muralikrishnan B, Xiaomi customers can now get the batteries of their Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones replaced. The battery replacement program starts at Rs 499. Muralikrishnan took to Twitter to make this announcement. He tweeted, “It’s time to say goodbye to your battery problems! Head to #Xiaomi Authorised Service Center near you and get your old battery replaced; get a refreshed & recharged experience ???? All of this, starting from just Rs 499.”

Customers must keep in mind that the price of the battery will depend on the cost of their smartphone. This means that the users of an entry-level Xiaomi smartphone will have to pay less and the price of the battery replacement will increase depending on the price of their smartphone.
Xiaomi smartphone users can also book a prior appointment to visit the service centre using the Xiaomi Service+ app.
