xiaomi: Xiaomi Mi Band 7 set to launch on May 24 – Times of India

Xiaomi is set to introduce the next series of Redmi Note smartphones – the Redmi Note 11T – on May 24. Alongside the Redmi Note 11T series, the company will also be bringing the next iteration of its fitness tracker – the Mi Band 7. Like all past years, the Xiaomi fitness band will debut in China. Xiaomi took it to its Weibo handle to tease its upcoming fitness band, revealing the look and a few key features of Mi Band 7.
Xiaomi Mi Band 7 features (expected)
From the pictures, it’s confirmed that the Mi Band 7 will follow the same pill-shaped design as its predecessor. However, the display will be bigger than the Mi Band 6 at 1.62-inches. Moreover, the teasers also suggest NFC support on the Mi Band 7, which would be limited to China and a few other markets. Other features might include heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2) sensors and weather, music controls and alarm feature.
The Mi Band 6 was launched last year. It featured a 1.56-inch edge-to-edge display with a resolution of 152 x 360 pixels. The fitness band came with a heart rate and SpO2 sensor. It also had support for more than 30 exercise and sports mode tracking. Moreover, it has a 125mAh battery with 2 hours of charging time. The Mi Band 6 retails in India for Rs 3,499. So, we can expect the Mi Band 7 to be priced similarly in India.
Xiaomi is also introducing the Redmi Note 11T series on May 24. The Note 11T lineup is rumoured to consist of three models – the Redmi Note 11T, Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+.
