NEW DELHI: Xiaomi launched its new mid-range smartphones — Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G and Xiaomi 11i 5G in India on January 6. The company launched both smartphones via an online event. At the end of the live stream, the company teased the launch of a new smartphone.
In the conclusion of the live stream video, the Chinese smartphone maker teased the launch of a new Xiaomi smartphone calling it the ‘Hyperphone‘. The teaser also mentions that the smartphone is ‘coming soon’. This clearly indicates that soon Xiaomi will launch a new smartphone in India.
As per rumours, the company might soon launch the Xiaomi 11T Pro in India as the ‘Hyperphone’. The smartphone maker launched the handset in Europe last year in September. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm processor and it sports an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.
Last month, tipster Mukul Sharma also spotted the Xiaomi 11T Pro on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) website. This also suggests an imminent launch for the smartphone. As per rumours, Xiaomi 11T Pro is said to be priced under Rs 60,000.
Xiaomi 11T Pro specifications
Xiaomi 11T Pro runs Android 11 operating system topped with MIUI 12.5. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. The device packs up to 256GB of onboard storage.
Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate with the company’s own Adaptive Sync technology. The display is also protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup with a 108MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a tele macro camera. The front of the smartphone houses a 16MP selfie shooter.
Xiaomi 11T Pro comes with Stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and it also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
