NEW DELHI: Twitter users you will soon be able to write more on the platform. The popular social networking platform is testing a new long-form type of blogging feature. Twitter has confirmed that it is testing a feature called Twitter Notes which will enable users to write more than 280 characters.
The company is presently testing the feature with a select group of users in the US, UK, Canada and Ghana. The platform also mentioned that users in most countries’ can read the notes on and off Twitter.
Twitter also shared a small GIF of the upcoming feature explaining how the feature will work.

In order to use the feature, users will have to click on the ‘Write’ tab to start writing a Note. Once written, the Note then can be embedded into their tweet.
Twitter also revealed that many writers have also already published Notes on the platform. The posted Notes appear as long-form posts which include tweets, videos and images.
Meanwhile, Twitter is all set to revive its developer conference after seven years. Twitter has announced the return of its developer conference, Twitter Chirp. The company has also announced a Developer Challenge where it aims to “inspire and reward innovation”. The microblogging social media platform will host this in-person event in San Francisco on November 16, 2022. Moreover, Twitter has also decided to Livestream the keynote speech for the ones who are unable to physically attend the event.
