YouTube also mentions that higher-quality videos with 4K or HD resolution are likely to take more time to process.

Earlier, YouTube showed users two different waiting periods before uploading a video, The first part depicted the time that YouTube needed to upload the file from your computer into your account. Whereas, the second part indicated the time that YouTube will require to process the file into a full-quality video.
YouTube has been showing the estimated time for uploading a video (the first part of the process) with a timer and a progress bar for a long time now. However, the estimated time for the quality processing part was unavailable until now. The video-sharing platform has now started showing the amount of time remaining for the user to upload the video in full quality. YouTube will also show separate readouts for different video qualities.
