YouTube launches ‘Go Live Together’ feature: What is it and how will it help creators – Times of India

YouTube has announced the “Go Live Together” feature for creators. This feature will help creators to live stream content with other users from their phones. YouTube’s latest creator-focused feature will also allow users to invite a guest to ‘co-livestream’ videos. The Google-owned video streaming platform took to Twitter to introduce the new feature which is aimed mainly at content creators. YouTube also hinted that the company may soon introduce this feature for desktop users as well.
The tweet shared by the TeamYouTube account says: “Introducing Go Live Together, a new way to easily start a co-stream & invite a guest, all from your phone! creators need 50+ subs to host co-streams, but anyone can be a guest!.”

YouTube ‘Go Live Together’ feature: How to use
YouTube’s latest creator-related feature will be available for Android and iOS users. The ‘Go Live Together’ option will appear in the Create section beneath the “Go live” button on YouTube’s mobile app. The video streaming platform will also allow creators to send out a link to any guest.
Apart from this, youtube will also let creators go live from their phones on live streams scheduled from their computers. However, users can access this feature to go live directly from their mobile phones.

Furthermore, creators will also be able to switch up the guests they have on their livestream. But users can only have one co-host in their livestream at once. The stream feed of the user who has started the livestream will appear above their guests even after they have been invited.
