Google recently launched its flagship smartphones — Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The company is now said to be working on the mid-range — Pixel 7a smartphone. The tech giant is expected to launch the Google Pixel 7a next year. Now a new leak about the upcoming smartphone has surfaced online revealing its likely design.

The first renders of Pixel 7a shared by OnLeaks in association with SmartPrix suggest that the smartphone may sport a Pixel 7-like design. The images shared suggest that the Pixel 7a will also come with a bar-shaped design and it will also sport a metallic bar at the rear end which will house the camera. The front of the upcoming smartphone is said to feature a punch-hole display. The centre of the screen is expected to house the front camera.
The leak also reveals that the Pixel 7a may have the same measurements as its predecessor. The smartphone is also said to retain the 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone is tipped to feature an FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. Google Pixel 7a is expected to come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 64MP main camera.
Google Pixel 7a is said to be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset. This is the same chipset which powers the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The upcoming smartphone is likely to be backed by a 4410mAh battery and an 8MP front shooter.
The smartphone is tipped to sport a ceramic body. This will be the first Google smartphone to come with a ceramic body. Google Pixel 7a is said to come with a wireless charging chip – P922 and is said to support 5W charging.
