Google released Android 12L’s second beta build recently and as per a report by 9To5Google, the animations found in the build could give an idea about the design elements of the rumoured Google Pixel foldable device.
As per the report, there are two animations. One shows the device in a folded state while the other shows it in the unfolded state. The phone in folded state does not have the tall and narrow look like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 device but is more on the wider side, like the Oppo Find N, which leads to the speculation that the Pixel foldable phone could be more squarish in design when folded.
According to the report, the first animation “shows a folded device that’s somewhat stout in its shape, with an obvious volume rocker on the right-hand side. On the left, we can see what looks to be the hinge, while the SIM card tray is mounted in the bottom. We believe this animation is depicting what will be the Pixel Fold’s smaller, outer display.”
The report claims that the foldable’s internal display could come with an aspect ratio of 7:8. In the video. Based on the second animation, it can also be expected that the SIM card tray is on the same half of the phone as the external display. Locations of other ports or buttons were not shown in the animation.
