Moto G53 5G with 50MP main camera launched

Moto G53 5G is here. Motorola launched its flagship smartphone Moto X40 at an event in China today (December 15). Along with its high-end smartphone, the company also unveiled its budget smartphone — Moto G53 5G at the same time. The budget smartphone from Motorola is powered by a Qualcomm chipset and runs Android 13 operating system. Moto G53 5G houses a 50MP main camera and it comes with a splash-resistant design.
Moto G53 5G comes with a starting price tag of 899 yuan (Rs 10,690) and it comes in black and Azure White colour options. The 5G-enabled smartphone will soon go on sale in China. The Chinese smartphone maker has not yet revealed any details about the India launch of this budget smartphone.
Moto G53 5G specifications
Moto G53 5G sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution. The LCD display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and offers up to 120Hz refresh rate.
The company has not yet specified the name of the chipset but has confirmed that the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile platform. Moto G53 5G comes in two variants — 4GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. Users can further expand the stoarge by adding a microSD card. The company has also revealed that the smartphone offers 3GB of virtual RAM support.
The 5G smartphone from Motorola runs Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MyUI 5.0. Moto G53 5G features a dual rear camera with 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary macro shooter. The front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter.
The budget Moto smartphone comes with IP52 rating which makes it splash-resistant. Moto G53 5G houses a 4000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
