Ola has unveiled their new Ola S1 Air Electric Scooter in India. This is the most affordable Electric Scooter in Ola’s scooter lineup. The S1 Air offers a battery capacity of 2.5KWh and has a top speed of 90kmph. Just like the other S1 and S1 Pro, the S1 Air also comes with features like music, navigation, a companion app, and reverse mode.

Ola S1 Air Electric Scooter specifications

The Ola S1 Air comes with a hub-mounted motor with a peak output of 6 BHP. Along with that is also comes with a 2.5KWh lithium-ion battery pack, and has a top speed of 90kmph with support for Eco, Sport, and Reverse modes. The brand claims that the Scooter can run for up to 100km in Eco Mode. 

It takes 4.5 hours to recharge the battery from 0-100% and Ola claims the scooter can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 9.8 seconds. It comes equipped with drum brakes instead of discs and a single-piece rear grab handle. Furthermore, the S1 Air is also equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen console that comes with Ola’s MoveOS 3 operating system. 

It will be the first scooter to come with support for MoveOS 3 out-of-box and support further updates. Ola says that the new Move OS 3 offers features such as proximity-based unlocking digital key sharing, improved regen braking, and a document feature that will help store the documents. 

Ola S1 Air Electric Scooter price and availability

Ola’s most affordable S1 Air Electric Scooter comes at the price at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹84,999. The scooter comes in colour options that include Coral Glam, Jet Black, Liquid Silver, Neo Mint, and Porcelain White.

As for availability, customers can reserve the Ola S1 Air at Rs. 999, and the scooter will be available for pre-order at a discounted price of Rs. 79,999 until October 24. The company has announced that the payment window will open in February 2023 and the deliveries will begin in the first week of April.
