Realme is all set to expand its Realme GT series of smartphones with the launch of GT Neo 5. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench listing revealing some of its specifications.
Multiple online reports suggest that Chinese smartphone maker Realme may launch its Relame GT Neo 5 smartphone at MWC 2023 (Mobile World Congress).
According to a post on Weibo, Chase Xu, Realme chief marketing officer, has confirmed the arrival of Realme GT Neo 5. The smartphone will be launched in China in February. The Chinese smartphone maker is yet to announce the launch date of the GT Neo 5 in the global markets. Realme GT Neo 5 is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to come in two variants. The Realme GT Neo 5 with a 5000mAh battery is said to come with 150W fast charging support, whereas the one with a 4600mAh battery is said to support 240W fast charging support.
The Realme GT Neo 5 is said to house a Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS support. The upcoming Realme smartphone may house a triple rear camera with 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. The smartphone is expected to come with a 16MP selfie shooter.
Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. The smartphone may run Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of UI.
