Realme GT3 with 240W fast charging support launched at MWC 2023 – Times of India

Realme has launched its first smartphone with 240W charging support at the Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona, Spain. The company has launched the Realme GT3 smartphone with 240W fast charging support.
The company claims that it only takes 80 seconds to charge the realme GT3 to 20% capacity. It only takes 9 minutes and 30 seconds to fully charge the device’s 4600mAh battery. The Chinese smartphone maker further adds that the Realme GT3 has an 80% lifespan after over 1,600 charging cycles with 240W enabled, which is more than double the industry standard of 80% battery health after 800 charging cycles. GT3 also uses intelligent charging, which detects the user’s status and switches the charging status to travel mode, sleep mode, or in-car mode.
The Realme GT3 comes in Booster Black and Pulse White colour options. The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of $649 (Rs 53,605). The smartphone maker has announced that it will reveal the price and availability details soon.
Realme GT3 specifications
Realme GT3 features a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 1240×2772 pixel resolution. The display offers adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz with 1450 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM.
Realme GT3 comes in four storage options – 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB. It runs Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI 4.0. Realme GT3 comes with dual SIM support and features a triple rear camera. The rear camera comprises 50MP main sensor with f/1.88 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP microscope lens with f/3.3 aperture. Front is home to a 16MP front camera with f/2.45 aperture.
The smartphone comes equipped with stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos and is backed by a 4600mAh battery with 240W fast charging support.
