What Carl Pei had to say about the Dynamic Island feature of new iPhones

Apple finally unveiled its latest iPhone 14 series at the company’s Far Out event. This year the company has launched four new iPhones — iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. For the first time ever, Apple’s ‘Pro’ series iPhones offer notable upgrades over the non-Pro models. One such and most-talked about feature is called Dynamic Island.

Dynamic Island is a new design that introduces an intuitive way to experience the iPhone — and the Always-On display. The feature allows users to try new ways to interact with the iPhone, featuring a design that blends the line between hardware and software, adapting in real time to show important alerts, notifications, and activities. Without impeding content on the screen, the Dynamic Island maintains an active state to allow users easier access to controls with a simple tap-and-hold. Ongoing background activities like Maps, Music, or a timer remain visible and interactive, and third-party apps in iOS 16 that provide information like sports scores and ride-sharing with Live Activities can take advantage of the Dynamic Island.
The feature has replaced the big notch on the Pro models of iPhone 14 and has been liked by many customers. Along with the iPhone lovers, there’s somebody else who has liked the new Dynamic Island feature of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Carl Pie, the founder of technology startup Nothing has liked the Dynamic Island feature on the new iPhones. Pie took to Twitter to appreciate the feature. Pie tweeted, “Dynamic Island is smart!”
